Our verdict

Snapseed is a good candidate for photos that need more than one automatic filter. Work first on cut-out and light, then on local corrections. Also look at the result zoomed in to recognize excessive tightening or retouching. For large photo series and extensive file management, a desktop environment remains more convenient.
