For nearby transfer, both devices must be able to find each other and allow the connection. Therefore, check visibility and the receiving account before sending a file. A recognizable device name prevents you from choosing the wrong recipient.

Do not keep wide visibility on longer than necessary. After a large transfer check that all files are on the target before you clean up the source. Bluetooth and Wi-Fi can have different roles in finding and transferring.

Quick Share is useful for loose transfers between phone and PC. Preferably limit visibility to your own devices or trusted contacts. Check the destination before you send. It is a part tool, not continuous synchronization or backup: a file transferred is not automatically kept up-to-date.
