Our verdict
Premiere fits with recurring assembly work, combining multiple image and sound sources. You can further develop a project without having to switch directly to another editor. For a single simple cut, the program is often more extensive than needed.
Choose your project settings based on the end result and make proxies for heavy material in time. Check a short trial export for image, sound and subtitles before running a long video. Also save the source files: a project file usually contains links and is not automatically a full archive copy.
