Safari is a strong first choice if you already work on Mac and want to use your browser data on your iPhone or iPad. Linking to the system saves loose settings and makes it easy to keep tabs and other data within your Apple environment.

The main reason to install another browser next to it is usually compatibility with a specific website or extension. That doesn't have to mean a complete switch. Use Safari for your regular work and assess what you miss by exception. Keep your macOS version up-to-date enough to continue receiving browser security updates.
