Who is it for?
This is useful if you are looking for a browser with built-in blocking and connection to many chromium extensions. You can also use Brave when you want to determine per website what is stopped. If you want a browser to be as sober as possible, first walk past the additional services and functions and only switch on what you use.
Getting started
Try your bank, webmail and other fixed websites after importing. Doesn't work a part, adjust the protection aimed at that website.
Privacy
Shields can limit a lot of tracking requests, but they don't make you anonymous. A website on which you are logged in can still link your visit to your account. Synchronization is a separate choice with an encrypted synchronization chain. Keep access to it carefully and remove devices you no longer use.
Good to know
An ad blocker does not ensure complete anonymity. Some websites show limitations when you block advertisements or scripts.
Please note
Do not allow a website directly anywhere when one part fails. A targeted exception keeps the consequences clear. Also, do not install multiple blocking extensions without reason: overlapping filters make failures more difficult to explain. Check separately for additional Brave services which data, accounts or payments are involved.

Our verdict
Brave is especially interesting when you want to load fewer trackers and ads without directly compiling a collection of extensions. The built-in Shields offer protection per website. You keep a balance between blocking and compatibility: stricter settings can also touch parts that a web store, video player or login screen needs.
Choose Brave because of the built-in protection if you want to maintain it. For a non-working site, an exception for that one page is a more targeted step than lowering protection everywhere. Judge whether you have sufficient benefit after that. The browser should support recurring web tasks, without having to constantly find out which blocking is involved.
