Our verdict

This browser is especially useful if you deliberately want less Google links and still want to stay on Chromy. You don't get a new way of internet access, but a different division of responsibilities: the browser does less automatically and you should pay more attention to the origin and topicality of your installation.

This is an important consideration for a shared family computer. Choose it when you actually want to perform that maintenance. If you're looking for a browser that keeps itself up-to-date without looking back, then a version with a clearly built-in updater fits better with your usage.
