Our verdict
Q-Dir is useful if you want more overview than one Explorer window. You don't have to learn an extensive synchronization process right away in order to get something out of it.
Choose it as multiple fixed folders next to each other actually make your work clearer. Two panels can be enough; adding four windows without fixed function can also distract. Save a format with identifiable locations and check the target path when dragging. For automated synchronization or complex file rules, you need to assess those requirements separately. The immediate added value of Q-Dir is the visible overview during manual work.
