SyncBack Monitor

SyncBack Monitor lets you view the status of syncBackPro and SyncBbackSE profiles on computers in the same local network. You can start, pause, resume or stop tasks without running to that computer.

The Android app does not replace the Windows backup software. Profiles and destinations are set on the computer. The connection is intended for local control; a telephone outside your network does not reach the computer automatically. The current app also shows when a profile is executed next time.

Monitor gives you a view on your phone of tasks performed on another computer. That's nice when you want to know if a copy job is ready without sitting behind that computer. The actual data processing remains with the corresponding SyncBack installation.

Check which computers you make visible and which commands you can give from your phone. Starting a task manually while a large transfer is running can cause additional load. Use the notifications as a tool, but also occasionally check that the saved files can actually be read back.
