GPU-Z

You can use GPU-Z to check a video card, ask about drivers or research into temperature and load. It is mainly intended to read data. If you want to change or overclock settings, you need other tools and knowledge of the risks.

First check the selected GPU and then open the sensors. View measurements during normal use before drawing conclusions from a peak.

You can view information locally. The developer describes individual network features, including update control and your started uploads for validation or VBIOS. Check what you send before using such a function. Remove from shared screenshots data that are not required to discuss your graphical configuration.

GPU-Z is mainly an information tool. It doesn't fix video problems and not every card provides the same measurement data.

Creating a BIOS backup is not the same as being able to safely install another BIOS. Do not use that feature as a reason to flash firmware from a similar looking card. In addition, interpret PCIe and clock speeds together with load and energy saving; lower values at rest need not be an error.

GPU-Z is useful when you want to know exactly what graphical chip, amount of video memory and connection configuration your computer reports. You can view specifications and track sensor data. It will help you examine a configuration. It is not a replacement for a performance test in your own apps or an automatic repair of a graphical problem.

The program fits a specific question about the reported video card or its activity. If you want to know why a particular game is failing, put the sensor data next to what that game is doing at the time. Check with multiple adapter laptops which chip you're looking at. A properly identified model is a starting point, not proof that all institutions are optimal.
