GoodSync is useful if you want to regularly transfer the same files between two locations and rather see a graphical difference overview than command line output. The analysis before execution gives you a moment to check direction and changes. This is particularly valuable for tasks that are occasionally started manually.

For fully automatic tasks you need to capture the behavior extra carefully. What happens to removals, conflicts and temporary inaccessibility? Test those situations with a small folder. If you need real recovery points, set up version management or separate backup. For controlled synchronization, GoodSync can offer a clear method.
