Flameshot

You can use Flameshot for manuals, remote support and feedback on a website. It fits loose, annotated images. For a multi-step action, a short screen shot or a set of separate screenshots can be clearer than one overcrowded image.

Connect a suitable shortcut and make a test shot. Then choose the desired folder or clipboard action.

A screenshot can capture tabs, usernames, notifications and document content. Therefore check the entire image before sharing, including the corners. An upload to Imgur or another service is a separate publication step; choose local storage if you only need the image in your own document.

Screen recording may require additional permission, depending on your operating system. The operation differs between desktop environments.

Before parts check the cut-out and what remains readable under markings. A good image shows exactly the relevant setting and keeps the rest of your screen out of view.
