A filter does not prevent a service on which you log in to recognize you. Secure your synchronization access and check which devices receive the browser data.

Due to the many settings, decorating takes more time than a very simple browser. Not every built-in feature is needed for everyone.

Many modifications can make it more difficult to explain a problem. Preferably change one setting at a time. Check the filters and extensions separately for websites that are not working. Save the necessary recovery data before deleting synchronization or an old profile.

Vivaldi is interesting if you want a lot of control over tabs, side panels and the layout of your browser. You can use different built-in tools without looking for an extension for each task. The most important choice is how much you really need. Start with a simple decor, so that customization supports your daily work rather than introducing new controls each time.

Choose Vivaldi if you have specific requirements for tab groups, panels or controls that you often use. First check if a simple own format provides the desired overview. Additional built-in services then each require their own account and privacy choices. If you especially want a browser that requires as little decor as possible, maximum customizability is not necessarily the main advantage.
