Start with a well organized 3D model. Clear materials, object names and an appropriate scale make it easier to assess lighting and camera views. A presentation program cannot fix a messy source model by itself.

If a new import is made, check that changes have been correctly taken over and that previously set materials are maintained. Before a major update, make a copy of the project. The quality and speed of the display depend heavily on scene complexity and graphic hardware.

Version history

2026.1 HF2

You get the second hotfix of the stable 2026.1 series, with less memory pressure and recovery for login and presentations.

  • Automatic quality settings are limited on video cards with less than 8 GB of graphic memory. Lumen used less memory at High and Ultra.
  • Blinking shadows on moving characters at Lumen rendering have been restored.
  • Failed to log in with stored data, the app may revert to login via your browser.
  • Exported presentations follow the visibility of configurations. Stacks in built-in web windows under macOS 15 Sequoia have been fixed.

Twinmotion fits when you want to present a design without reconstructing all the components in a game engine. First test the import of your own model: material names, scale and hierarchy determine how much post-processing is required. Also check that the desired output and cloud sharing are within your license.
