The result can be judged mainly on larger display or print. The software offered is an old edition from 2006.

A photo mosaic works with a collection of small images that together form a larger subject. The choice and variation of these source images determine how much detail and color difference is possible. Use images for which you have sufficient rights of use.
Review the result both from close range and at the final viewing distance. What appears to be recognizable on the screen can close in a small print. Also save the original main photo and image collection used for a new output.

Our verdict
PhotoMosaique suits a single creative mosaic project. Choose a recognizable main image and a varied collection of small photos. Check a cutout for actual output size before printing. On a small screen, the individual images can become unreadable, leaving much of the effect.
