ESET Online Scanner is useful as additional, targeted control of your Windows computer. You can run a scan without replacing your existing security package immediately. Think of it as a second check at a certain point. A clean result does not say that any future download is safe or that all causes of unwanted behavior are excluded.
The tool fits an additional check if you want to maintain the existing security. Allow name and location of finds to be considered before performing an action. Also hold the original complaint as a checkpoint. A scan that is done does not automatically mean that an unwanted browser setting, corrupted file or other cause has been recovered.
