The backup consists of managed blocks and data on recovery points; so you need to use it through an appropriate recovery procedure, not treat it as a regular folder with loose copies.

Choose this approach if planned recovery points are more important than a destination that you want to browse as a regular folder. Continue recovery to another folder and record the access needed for that. A successful backup job is not enough if you don't remember how to open the storage and encryption on a replacement computer.
