Your commodity trucks stay better with their refinery and some crashes are solved.

OpenRA 20250330 prevents harpsters from wandering unnecessarily far from their refinery. Collecting point markings and a crash in burning jungle trees have also been restored. Raspberry Pi support is working again and Dune 2000 is getting corrections to explosion damage and the display of fallen units.

OpenRA is an attractive choice if you like to build bases and control units in the style of classic strategy games. Modern control makes this game form more accessible on current computers. You don't have to approach it as an exact museum copy of the original game.

It is precisely the adapted rules that deserve attention. Start with a game against the computer and learn the chosen variant before playing online. For nostalgia to any original detail, the difference may be disappointing, but for a replayable RTS environment this is not necessarily a disadvantage. Choose the mod of which tempo and units appeal to you.
