Min is a browser in which your tabs and navigation take up as little space as possible. With tasks, you group pages that belong together. For example, you can keep your administration away from a holiday search without organizing different browsers.

In focus mode, other tabs disappear from view. Bookmarks can be provided with tags and previously visited pages are searched for content. That search function works on your own device. That is useful when you do know what was in an article, but forget the title or web address.

The browser blocks ads and trackers and offers a read view. Min has its own extension capabilities via user scripts. Check in advance if your password manager and indispensable browser functions fit this method; a smaller interface also means that you get a different operation than in an extensive standard browser.

Who is it for?

You want less distraction during reading or research and like to work with small groups of tabs. You're looking for a browser where you can clearly separate tasks.

Getting started

Download the release for your system and processor. Create a first task with some tabs, try the search function and check your main websites before setting Min as default browser.

Privacy

The search index of visited pages is used locally. As a result, there may be more content of your browsing history on your device than just a list of addresses. Please note that on a shared computer.

You need to get used to the sober ministry. User scripts and integrations require their own compatibility check.

Min is attractive if your browser has to be a place to read concentrated and collect information. Especially the combination of tasks and local search adds something. Start with a separate task next to your current browser, so you can check whether your fixed websites and password management are properly connected. The choice here is about peace and organisation, not as many built-in services as possible.
