IDrive is interesting when you don't just want to protect one computer, but bring data from multiple devices together in a backup plan. The shared storage model can then be clear, provided you know how much space you need and which data take precedence.
The many product names and functions require a conscious choice. First, set up regular file backup and check recovery before triggering additional parts. Note the handling of deleted files and any private keys. For one small local folder the offer may be extended, but for several devices central management can help to avoid anything.
